# Onion Core Vouch — Terms for Requesters

1. **Consent first.** A Vouch check runs only after the subject signs the Disclosure & Authorization. Do not try to bypass the consent link or ask the operator to run a check manually.
2. **Supported purposes only.** Use Vouch only for the purpose category and description in the request. Employment, housing, credit, insurance, and other eligibility decisions are prohibited on Vouch.
3. **Not a consumer report.** Onion Core Vouch is not a consumer reporting agency. Do not describe or use a Vouch report as a consumer report, background screening report for eligibility, or proof of identity.
4. **Handle links carefully.** Requester and subject links are private credentials. Do not publish them.
5. **Use results carefully.** Public search evidence can be stale, incomplete, or about another person. Verify important claims at the source before acting.
6. **No prohibited conduct.** Do not use a report for stalking, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, retaliation, doxxing, or unwanted contact.
7. **Subject rights control access.** The subject may revoke access or delete the check at any time. Revocation and deletion are effective immediately in the service.
8. **Operator action.** The operator may void a check, refuse service, or change these terms. Metadata may be retained in an operator ledger for abuse prevention and service integrity; report contents are not shown in the ledger.
