# Onion Core Vouch — Requester Certification

Before creating a check, the requester must certify all of the following:

1. I am requesting this check for the lawful purpose I selected and described.
2. I will not use the report for employment, tenant/housing, credit, insurance, or any other eligibility decision.
3. I will not use the report for stalking, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, retaliation, or unwanted contact.
4. I understand Onion Core Vouch is not a consumer reporting agency and its report is not a consumer report.
5. I understand the subject must sign before the check runs, may receive the same report, may revoke consent, may request deletion, and may append a correction note.
6. I understand public search results can be incomplete or can point to a different person with the same name or a similar handle.

Supported purpose categories are project/collaboration vetting, roommate/housemate, marketplace-transaction safety, community/organization role, and checking your own footprint.

Eligibility purposes are not supported. If the check will influence whether someone gets a job, home, loan, credit, insurance, or a similar benefit or opportunity governed by consumer-report law, stop and use a certified consumer reporting agency through its own consent process.
