# Onion Core Vouch — Disclosure & Authorization

Onion Core Vouch is a consent-based public-source verification service. It is **not** a consumer reporting agency, and a Vouch report is **not** a consumer report.

## Who is asking

The consent page names the requester, their organization (if any), the purpose category, and the requester's own description of the purpose. Do not sign unless that information is clear.

## What may be checked

Only the identifiers you provide on the consent form may be checked: your legal name, an area hint, public handles, email addresses, domains, and public profile URLs.

Vouch may search public web pages and public profiles, public business and court-record mentions, public domain-registration data, and breach-exposure metadata. Breach-exposure metadata means the names, dates, record counts, and kinds of data associated with known breaches. It never means the contents of a breach.

## What is never included

Vouch does not seek or include street or home addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, financial-account data, private-account content, breach contents or passwords, precise location data, or information obtained by logging into someone else's account.

## Your rights

You may decline. You may get the same report copy as the requester. You may revoke consent, request deletion, and append a correction note. A report is valid for 30 days. Consent links expire after 7 days if not signed.

A match in public search results is a lead, not proof. Same-name strangers exist. Check sources before relying on a result.

## Authorization

By checking the boxes and typing your full name on the consent page, you authorize Onion Core Vouch to run the public-source check described here on the identifiers you supplied, and to share the resulting report with the named requester. The stored consent record includes your typed signature, the date and time, and the browser user-agent.
